Community Mental Health Programme
Enquire / Get SupportMMM's Community Mental Health Programme delivers mental health care directly to communities across 191 villages in Morigaon and Nagaon. Community Health Workers identify patients at home, provide medicines, counselling and family support.
Since 2020, 5,723 patients have been enrolled with a 77% recovery rate. The programme covers schizophrenia, depression, epilepsy, intellectual disability and other conditions — serving people who would otherwise have no access to care.
Services include:
- Home-based patient identification and follow-up
- Free medicines and counselling
- Family and caregiver support
- Referral to hospitals for surgery and specialist care
- Awareness camps across villages
