SAA, Morigaon Mahila Mehfil was started in the year 2012 supporting by Assam State Child Protection Society, Guwahati, Assam. It is aiming for care and protection of children in need and facilitate to placement of orphan, abandoned and surrendered child through adoption.
As a SAA, the MMM has been working in following areas:
Awareness and counseling under Adoption Regulation -2015
Provide Care and Protection of children in need.
Facilitate to get legally free for Adoption Certificate from CWC.
Facilitate On line Registration of Prospective Adoptive Parents (PAPs)
Preparation of Home Study of prospective adoptive parent
Legal process for giving the child in adoption to prospective adoptive parent.
Post monitoring and follow up of adopted child.

138 Nos of children were registered in SAA, MMM
Total Children given in Adoption is 79 (In Country-75 and Inter Country-4 (Spain-2, Itali-2))
